Hi guys, although my nissan radio works o.k. the screen has slowly disappeared, so now when tuning I cant see whats, what. Anyone got a fix? or is it replacement time......... I did replace it a couple of years ago with an all singing, dancing one from Aldi but I took it out it was far to complicated for use in a car and it now resides fitted in the caravan where the remote is very usual when lying in bed  regards...bri

I fixed mine by taking it out & putting it under my bed A fitting a Sony one instead    No it seems a very common thing to happen going off old posts

Mine did that shortly after gettin it so the garage sent it away for repair. The cost of repair may end up being more than a replacement. If your worried about wiring a replacement in, you can buy adapter cables so no wires just plug it in. If you want I may have the wiring diagragm of the original radio so that you can workout what wire does what.

thanks Jim, I did get a connector from halfords for the aldi one but I had to modify it as the radio lost its memory, it was change over wires from ign on to always on....bri
