Hi guys, just joined and looks like I posted a question in the wrong section yesterday. Anyway, fully paid up now and wondering if any one can help me.
Just bought a 1994 Nissan Patrol LWB 4.2l Y60 and looking to do a 2 inch body lift - already sorted spacing the wheels out and it looks ace, but looking for a bit more height.
I've been in touch with a place up north which could do it for me, but as I live in Derby, its just too far. Someone suggested I do it myself, but I'm unsure of what's involved.
Can anyone either suggest anywhere nearish to Derby where I could get this done or advise what's involved ?
Many thanks, Steve.

The job itself is simply unbolting the existing body mount bolts then jack up the body and insert your spacers. Stick longer bolts back in and spanner away. You'll probably need to fiddle your radiator fan cowl and maybe for comfort extend the gear stick.
I dont know diddly do da about Derby so cant help on 4x4 types in the area. Have you done a google search or asked local garages?

Cheers mate.
Done loads of searches - spoke to Dave at Blood Red Off Road who seems really helpful so may end up going there, but its a big round trip.
Cheers

Bodylift now done with the help of Dave at Bloodred Off Road - now looks ace - fairly simple job unless the back two bolts give some grief - needed to alter the front bumper to lift that as well and will need to trim the transmission tunnel for the second gear stick. Cheers
