I'm trying to read codes and live data etc
I've got a Nissan Consult with usb out. The disc that came with it is doing my noggin in
I'm getting this error message ? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ?

I've reloaded it loads of times and failed :(

Connection problems, short term much easier to just flash the codes as per the downloads, Rick

I want to do the live data too Rick, it's really handy to see what's going on. Data log etc

Is it Win 10 compatible ?

I have had issues with lots of older programmes on Win 10 some just aren't compatible and others will not run on my 64 bit processor.

Depends what version of Windows 10 but you could try building a virtual machine to run consult on there. Failing that your other two options are to either reload your machine back to previous operating system or buy a cheap laptop that still has the older version of windows.

Its probably a Driver issue & by that I'm not saying you :lol but the software driver, have you tried running the software in comparability mode for Win 7 ? or try looking on web for another driver.

i assume you are using a USB to RS232 serial adaptor, the error message probably pertains to this and not the ECU talk software. As suggested a driver update for the adaptor is likely required.

I will bring my dedicated lappy to the Welsh meet you can play till your hearts content, just make sure you have plenty of USB memory to store the data, and plenty of time to look at it all, and scratch your head:D, Rick
