BBQ in a big field

Weve camped there on and off for five years and have even being able to get a camp fire going. Its at a place called Grinton and sits next to a shallow rocky river, Swale l think. The field has a fresh water tap and a point for caravaners to empty their toilet doings but thez no leky power. There are caravan clubs that meet there every year but as far as lm aware no off roading clubs have met there yet. The pub near by does great food and l think B&B. The farmer/owner of field has his pitch fee glass in the pub, £2 per person per night. It would be great for a group of us to meet up and camp over night in such a wonderful area. Magic our morris.

Ah, but you misunderstand. I meant on the way up (the map) from Surrey. Well, if anyone fancies driving Stanage whilst towing a caravan - please let me know & I'll come along to help collect the pieces afterwards.

Cheers
Andrew
