Sorry for not letting you know about that mate. We just caught it on the radio shortly B4 Borobridge and then a txt from HB.
Would be great if you & Jane could pop up on the 12th. Maybe you could include some laning too ???

Good news for Mavs and Trarnos

2~14.jpg

Good news for mavs and trarnos (standard). The devils teeth at Fremlington ridge near Grinton North Yorkshire should be achievable upwards. Due to the fact a standard diatsu thingy and a standard 110 county tour bus (with side steps) achieved this only last Sunday with zero damage. Go for it chaps !!! -groovy-

Me and sweety managed it fine down the way,so i should imagine it would be ok up the way!!

Yeah, I think we a bit over cautious last time but with reports of spinning wheels and rocks being thrown out etc it was probably safest (some people do talk a load of.....).

I think in the wet it would be a whole different climb, that rock could e awefuly slippery I suspect.

Erm! is that directed my way HB??.
It was me that was following Pete up the first time and it was me that had to back off because of all the rocks that were coming flying in my direction!! :? :| 8O

Sorry no, though it was Pete who came back with those reports, he certainly nipped back to tell me to give him a good gap etc as we got near the top because of it, must be the way he drove it first time cos I don't think the tiniest pebble moved under any of us second time around, I for one never spun/scrabbled a tyre, just drove straight up - as I say in the wet might be a different matter.

I think a standard T2 should be able to make it as long as it's driven slowly & poss someone as a spotter incase clearance gets tight or in my case to watch I don't get the rear diff hooked up
Dadba Pete's Diahatsu is'nt standard as it has had body & suspension lift 2" on each I think

Trust me

Hey up mate. Its not Petes diahatsu I was referring to though mate. It was nat from diffaz. And then thez part of a route near Crackpot that only vehicles who's owners dont wish to be scratched to do. Good job nat brought his chain saw because a tree had fallen and rested across the lane. We now know where theres fire wood in that area.
Anyone up for this again in August ????
