They are tedious, repetitive and boring.

Probably right, we often flick at 5 to the hour to see the weather forecast, then wait for the headlines then get back to the usual rubbish we were watching.

The problem with flicking is... that for a few minutes you get interested in the other programme and forget what you were originally watching.:doh
