I was really hoping something like this would go on but my guess is the mounting feet are wrong
I need something substantial as I’m getting a 270% awning for it so I want plenty of hold in wind etc

Ok rolled underneath and found out the flexi isn’t attached at one end so may just order that piece and clamp it together

I brought one of those for my Maverick but it was more the A-Bar style than the full wrap around. I used to have a nightmare with mine with the brackets rusting away and would constantly need welding back together and also used to cost me valuable ground clearance when I was on 31's on the Maverick

Well it got fabricated today just made new mounting brackets with flatbar and a big hammer [emoji23]

Also sorted the exhaust flexi out welded one side and clamped the other

as I didn’t want to tackle the bolts that go to the turbo as they look pretty damn crusty

Just read this post - really interesting.

Wow that's some hard work done to your motor - I love to see such personalisation.

Yea I’ve done a fair bit now just need to get last couple bits sorted then strip the engine bay ready for welding new front arches in I think I will possibly make my own front bumper at that point too but that’s next year most likely I wanna get some use out of it now.

That awning looks a really useful piece of kit, especially as it can be opened by just one person. Pefect for lunch stops or camping inside the truck/cooking out of the rear.
I can't wait to see this truck in the flesh.

I will get to a meet up at some point when the stars align and there is a blood moon I promise [emoji23][emoji23] just so damn busy at the min with everything
