There is a download on handbrake adjustment.
There is a switch on the handbrake mechanism that might be faulty, or out of alignment, as normally the hand brake light comes on, at or before the first click of the handbrake. Well it's like that on my 1995 Maverick Mk I :nenau

Hoping for some advice. I've removed the handbrake switch, low brake fluid connection and vacuum connection but the caution/handbrake light stays on. Any ideas guys

Hi All
Have to turn the ignition key slow to start terrano so I am attempting to remove the plastic cowling, I have removed the screws but it seems to be still attached bottom left hand corner also do I have to pull off the plastic ring that fits round the ignition barrel before I can remove the bottom half, part of it seems to go down the barrel a fair way. help
