Hi
I am a newbie to the forum. We bought a 2001 terrano today and have a question about the lcd odomter and clock.
Firstly should the display alwaysbe on I.e readable even when ignitions off?
Secondly, has anyone ever had a problem where the button for resetting the trip meter or setting clock has broken and the clock continuously scrolls through the numbers.
Finally, will the above drain the battery
Thanks
Adam

Mileage always shows. The clock is adjusted by turning the button left or right, one way does minutes the other way does hours. So not sure why a broken one would scroll through the time unless it was stuck in a turned position. Can you get some long nose pliers onto it, or superglue a similar diameter 'sumfin onto the broken button.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Good to know it should always be on. The button itself is intact. If yiu turn it to the right it temporarily stops the clock scrolling through the hiyrs numbers until yiu let go then off it goes again. Turning to left does nothing and pressing does nothing. Is it possible to replace these buttons?
