new water pump or not

I have an odd leak of coolant coming from what appears to be the join between the thermostat housing and the bulkhead/waterpump. Im not 100% sure what its called but its the bit that all the pipes come in and out of. Anyway, the leak runs from under the pipes where its hard to see, out along the seam to the left as you look at it and away. Its not a huge leak, but my coolant level is going down slowly.

I have had to re coil some of the thread in this housing part but unsure if that's a factor - it may have leaked before I never noticed.

Could this just be a gasket issue, or water pump?

also, just to check, what type of gaskets are they between the various parts (pump, bulk head and housing)??

If paper gaskets then I can risk taking it all apart and fixing the gaskets if its just that....

so it looks like its leaking from up in the middle, down to where it has pooled, it then drips down and away....
