Nope its on the inley to the ip there is a spring loaded valve in the outlet which is there to keep the ip under a certain pressure with out that pressure the timing on the tdi cant be advanced or retarded with the help from ecu:thumbs

either way its after the big fuel filter which gets down to a small enough micron for any fuel we are ever likely to use.
