I will put that high up the list then, although the last thing i want to find out is that they are load bearing carpets

:lol:lol

Another tip, before you undo ANY nut/bolt/screw, soak it in wd40 or better for as long as you can, about 3 million years should do it :lol. Eg, under rear wheel arches you will see seatbelt bolts coming through, clean off with wire brush and give them a spray every couple of days until you're ready to remove them :thumb2

Carpets

I started to clean the carpet in the back with the VAX and it does a good job, but i think the dog left too much of itself behind. So ive cut it out up to the back seats at the moment. That has taken most of the smell out. Also used the vax on the seats, its like oil at the bottom of the bucket. Ive ordered some seat covers now because ive seen too much. Im not prepared to sit on them without protection. It will also help with any mud i bring or gets spashed in.
All seat anchor points are in great condition, very pleased.

Question. Stearing feels nice and easy but its like driving a boat at anything over twenty, is that normal with chunky tyres?

Hiya mate, sounds like linkages in steering mechanism are worn/wearing, have someone give the steering wheel a wobble while you look underneath. Also check the front ant-roll bar drop links.
