Hi,

Just bought a Terrano to start green laning. Ive only had it a week and cant wait to get out to play. If anyone knows where I can play in the Lincolnshire or surrounding counties, that would be great.

Its old, and ive only had it a week, but I cant walk by it with thinking 'that looks cool'

Welcome aboard Paul, nice trucks these but sadly they're all getting a little long in the tooth and suffering the tin worm but normally nothing that can't be put right. One thing to remember is never use your 4wd on a hard surface, due to them not having a centre diff they need a certain amount of wheel slip. If you are not sure about it's history a good service and oil changes for diffs and gearboxes will pay dividends and the rear diff does need genuine Limited Slip Diff oil too not a gear oil with any additives.

Tell us more about your pride and joy and a pic:thumbs

Had my first terrano since 2002 and it was 6 years old then and it's still going strong. Bought a project truck last year and running that around too. Loads of people modify them on here too.

Hi,
thanks for the nice welcome and info, that will help a lot. This is my first foray into off roading and thought I would get one that I wouldn't be too worried about if scratched. I will get some pics up soon, buts its a bit camera shy being blue with one red front right wing.

Yeah meaty looking tyres, mind you even tho the wing is wrong colour at least it looks solid which is more than most

meaty tyres

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes they are meaty tyres and the vehicle is in not too bad condition. House repairs have me busy for the next couple of weeks but I cant wait to play. I also have to give it a good clean inside as well. The last owner used it for lamping (not heard of that before and had a dog in the back which has left behind what looks like all its fur. Its either going to be new carpet in the back and on the back of the seats or just strip it out and leave it metal.:(

Hi and welcome.
I'd have them carpets out. It'll give you a chance to check for rot. :thumb2
