new road sign

on way home last night pulled up at a junction and when i looked to see if anything was coming ,i realised that a new road sign had been arrected .
right in my field of view .
Imagine my suprise as i crept forward to have a look up the road.
A BLOODY GREAT BIG TRACTOR TOWING A BIG BLUE TRAILER TRIED TO RUN OVER MY BONNET.:doh
I decided this was to dangerous to leave so after reversing of the junction i called 999 .
spoke to a nice helpful lady ,i explained what had just taken place.
she took details and said she would send someone out to have a look.
while i was parked up a few cars came by and crossed the junction with no trouble as they were low enough to see under neath the sign.
then a 4x4 pickup came and i watched as he pulled out straight in front of a hgv.
I set of to cross the junction straight in front of a transit van, causing him to swerve to stop him hitting me.:doh
Later i realised the sign had been placed on the wrong junction .it should have been on the next junction 1.5 miles away.
CAME HOME SAME WAY TONIGHT SIGN HAD BEEN REMOVED.:clap:clap:clap:
Will go to next junction and see if sign has been re located.

I know what you mean about Local Councils. How many times have you seen a good roundabout with lots of vision, then they plant a load of srubs in the centre and on aproach, then just leave them to grow wild so there is no aproach vision. and roundabouts were designed to speed up the flow of traffic:doh Laurie ash.
