Hi guys
I have a lwb 2005 terrano.
I'm after a new rear carpet for it. The one I have is terrible.

Have you thought about maybe buying a sheet of auto soundproofing carpet and using your old one as a template to cut around. Better soundproofing than standard stuff ( which holds onto water like a sponge ) and a quick look online shows up various types, colours, thicknesses etc and some can be moulded with a hair drier for a better fit.
I would stay clear of ones that stick in place incase water gets in and trapped under it and get one with a none absorbent backing for the same reason. Going too thick may affect the 7th seat latch to floor anchor if it does not compress enough though.

That's a bloody good idea that mate, any chance of a link or two?

You could cut a piece of carpet and take it to a carpet shop and get the edges bound like a rug... Ive put dynamat soundproofing in mine only becouse i got it free.

We got some rubber mat on a roll for our dog crates. It has sort of ridges on it and although quite thin it seems to hold up to dogs pretty well. I've seen mechanics line their tool roll cabs with it too. Wife got our last lot from fleabay. Might be worth a look.
