Thanks mate, needs a wash and a polish really but too cold at the moment as I have arthritis in my hands (on the scrap heap at 24 lol!) but when it gets warmer I'm gonna machine polish it and brighten up the wheels a bit

It's an mp3 stereo, it has a USB cable to connect to my iPhone/iPad and it can also play mp3 CDs and it also picks up DAB. Got it as a birthday present from my uncle about 3 years ago and used it in my Primera, but my skoda has a built in touchscreen nav system so I haven't been using it for ages, glad I didn't sell it now!

It's a Sony I changed the backlighting on it to green, there were three choices, red, bright blue or green - I thought green would look nice with the white dash! Heaters not blowing hot so im hoping it's that cable guide, if not then a coolant flush and a new stat! Praying it's not the matrix lol

Thanks for the comment on the colour, it is lovely and really polishes up well!

Btw does anyone know what the colour is called? My mate had a Primera and it was almost identical, was called morello red pearl, same colour code too, ah3

as for heat, could well be the stat, doubt its the matrix as USUALLY you'd have a leak in the passenger footwell....

Colour code is CK7. Mexican Chilli Red (same colour as mine!)

Unless last owner blanked off heater hot water pipes to stop heater leaking in the summer just a thought.

Thanks guys, no sd card slot, but I use spotify exclusively for my music so a USB/aux connection is the most important!

Previous owner was my big brother, never any leaks in the foot well that I've noticed, I guess I'm lucky as I've had a lot of miles in this car as a passenger (he bought it from Nissan dealer when it was a demonstrator) so I know the old girl's history which is quite lucky. The dealer offered him £150 trade in on it, cheeky sods - 120k on it with FSH!

Seen a lot of history this car has! Watched the eclipse in Cornwall with my head sticking out the sunroof as an 11 year old in it, I learnt to drive in it up a sewage works concrete track as well lol. Ideal learners vehicle! Not!

I have to say this is one of the nicest, if not the nicest forum I've been on for friendliness and general good advice. £10 well spent, I've probably saved that tenfold by having the info on how to do jobs like the pump filter without paying a garage to do it!
