well they had to fit a shiny new pump to my terrano. they insist its cooking oil that killed it.£749.46 lighter.runs lovely ticks over no probs. can rev stationary without it cutting out.so fingers crossed thats the end of it.

just out of interest have you run it on veg oil or did previous owner?

previous owner.i bought pre heaters and water heated primer pump but not got round to fitting. dont know if he used svo or wvo.but they showed me inside and it was built up gooey residue like you get on a well used deep fat fryer.

sounds lovely lol

think twin tanking for veg oil is best option cos it should clear any gunk in the pump when you do a flush at end of the journey.

thats what i'm planning on doing anyways

Think thats the way i will go. but gonna have to save some more before i go down that route.think veg oil wolverhampton do a kit for around £600 diy and a grand ish fitted.
