Haven't been on the site much recently. Been very busy, been away, had new arrival to the family, finished up in my job etc. etc.
Recently got two Suzuki Vitara's, one 96 vitara 1.6 petrol 16Valve and one Escudo 1.6 petrol 16 valve Helly Hansen edition. The 96 has a good bit of rust on the front end although seems basically sound and in good enough mechanical order from what I can tell. The 93 has little or no signs of rust but need some work in that some of the pieces have been taken off and need to be put back on.
Will try and get some pics up soon and maybe will be looking for some advice and suggestions once I get a chance to do a bit of work on them.

Finally getting to post the pictures of the Suzuki Vitaras.

93 Vitara. Overall is in good condition. Is running ok, Main problem is clutch is slipping so clutch needs to be replaced and exhaust manifold is cracked.

96 Vitara. In reasonably good mechanical condition but desparate rust all over. Have been cutting off bits and replacing them over the past few weeks. Wheel arches front and back rotten, sills on both sides rotten, floor pan has rust holes especially passanger side front and rear drivers side and passangers side have rust holes around body mounts. Have front and rear arches mostly repaired and sills on both sides. Working on floor and areas around body mounts. Not exactly precision panel beating quality work but repairs seem solid and will be mostly hidden when I have all the bumpers, trim etc. etc. back on.

Mostly time really. Although best quote I got for a clutch kit for the 93 is £ 80.00 but would have to do the work myself. Havn't made up my mind whether I will do the clutch job or not. Would like to get one of the two on the road and use the other for a bit of off-road work. Will see how things develop.
