what about when they scrap the paper licence? how many people will be scrapped from driving? and have to re-apply and re-do their test, it's all fine for them to say its saving money etc. but a database isn't 100% accurate just 1hr down time can cause no end of problems and i say this as a website site owner that has recently had database issues, they are playing with a system that was fine and replacing it with a new system that isn't

well , I rung motobility last night , and they say its probably best to still display my tax disc ( runs out aug 2015 )

An also if hackers get to it like they did with Microsoft and ps3 network there will be huge problems. Imagine if it got wiped! :naughty

Wow so much interest, should of guessed, cannot comment on all posts, be here all night, "makitfit" I taxed it at a PO with no insurance certificate, their comment was if it is not insured the tax will be rejected, yes Alex it was hypowhatsit, I have not had a chance yet to check the DVLA to see the details on my car, will do it so now, Rick
