hi to everyone new to my1998 terrano tdi ran well for 3 weeks then problems started when plodding along at 55mph car seems to be missing badley put your foot down and away she pulls but not like it did checked and cleaned following items mini filter return pipe valve serviced on purchase changed fuel filter added injecter cleaner but still the same any ideas would help was wandering if any problems with throtle position switch looks like it,s been changed on mine

hi will rev when conected but disconect it and struggles to rev up so not sure if it working or not thanks

dont rev, drive. disconnect and drive, should be sluggish, if thats the same as it is connected, its the MAF, but i would still check and clean the MAF because if its dirty, the correct signal wont get to the ECU.

I would also re check the fuel filter, could be air in there and it can take a LONG time to show up. check the priming button on top of the filter, should be solid. I would unscrew the filter, and re seal it perhaps, also check if its a good quality filter, cheap ones dont seal well, thus letting in air.

check your MIL light works, so you know if codes are being thrown up...

fuel lines could be perished letting in some air, check the drivers side of the car (right hand) on the chassis near the rear arch.

Check downloads, I did a guide on replacing them. Has some pics so you know where to look.

i got some clear fuel line from oilybits.com only took an hour or so .

thanks i will check these tomorrow and keep you posted also forgot to say tried cleaning maf with electrical cleaner but still the same will buy a quality filter tomorrow and try rest of your suggestions would love to sort out as i like this truck really impressed untillthis problem thanks again..
