Pah! Spectrum 128 - try getting 3d Moster Maze to load up on a ZX81, or even worse, typing in long, long lines of hex code from a 'Your Computer' magazine, just to play some lame game!

buh , you haven't lived until you've used a commodore c64 :eek::lol

or a Amstrad pc 1512 with green screen lol

These are all advanced technology compared to my first. I had a Tandy TRS80 with 16k ram! I wonder where it is.............

Ahhh, those were the days, tippex marks down the tape player volume control to make sure it had a fighting chance, plus the constant fear that you may sneeze and wobble the RAM pack on the back. Kids have it too easy these days!!

Pete, Commodore 64, VIC-20 was were it was at such a great upgrade from the ZX, games on cartridge - SO, SO much easier and a real keyboard, not to mention colour (When I got to nab the house TV, otherwise I was stuck with my 12" B&W!)
 
ok just an update went for a msi laptop with 4th gen i7 quadcore 8gb ram 1 tb hard drive and a geforce gt740m dedicated graphics card with 15.5" full hd screen and built in blu ray for £599 bit more than wanted to spend but hay will be keeping it for afair few years its the same spec as this but got it cheaper else where:D http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/MSI-CX61-CX61_2OD-011UK_1389668.html what do u guys think:eek:
