Indeedy :D, but all credit goes to you mate

I only attempted this after seeing yours so many thanks for taking the time to do a write up :thumb2

These are 418mhz? 433mhz is not compatible. Will the insides not fit into the flip? The Red & Black buttons look to be in a similar position to the flip's pad

The 2 blades I brought from eBay I'm considering sending back lol, don't need them

I am in the process of doing this, but have hit a couple of snags..

Firstly, where did you get the correct blades from, and what did you look for, to know they were the correct ones?

Secondly, I carefully removed the contact for the battery from the old fob, but the place it mounds on the new one is a lot thinner, so it does not stay clipped on, what did you guys do?

Bend it in on itself so that it's stronger and before you pop it in place a little dab from the glue gun ensuring that the contacts aren't covered

These are 100% the right blades if you are using the right flip cases as we did;

Cheers, that was what I though, just wanted to make sure I was not over looking anything...

Re blade, that is not the one that goes into the flip, it does not have the groove.

Ok so when I did mine it was fairly straight forward.
1, purchase old remote key to get the innards.
2, buy new flip case.
3, buy new flip key blanks,( sadly these are not currently available from same source)
4, remove chip from existing key, have new blade cut.
5, put it all together. I had no drilling, cutting or filing to do.

Now I will be trying a new fob setup next week when it arrives. If it is ok I will get back to you & post for all. :thumbs

Thanks, I will order one of those for the flip fob I got, that has the wrong blank.

For my T2, I have ordered the second link a couple of days ago, should get here on Monday.

I ordered the first one, but that blank does not fit the locks.

I brought that blade and then made the groove myself :thumb2

I just received this afternoon on of these and it appears it will fit my flip conversion, uk supplier.
Select Nissan then my key blank is NSN11
same pin method of securing

I actually got one of the complete remotes to try, but no joy there as that would have made things to easy :lol mind you there several options & one may work :nenau

Thought I'd try one of these flip key conversions tonight. Got it off the bay and it's not bad.

I was going to have the blank cut but decided to swap it for the original. Had to get out the needle files and after half hour had them looking identical. Filed a groove for the pin to hold it in and job done.
