good point, but you can't get sps signal everywhere

If i use my kindle as an example, it does, GPRS, edge, 3g, wi-fi, HSPA and HSDPA, (i think) and it swaps between whichever signal is strongest or available. So, most people would not be of the grid for very long and even then the time you left and came back compared to the distance covered would tell a lot about speed. And! how would you know if you were 'on-signal' or not :nenau

I assume they are, to a degree, like the emperors new clothes, and go faster stripes. They work because you believe in them. How much the really do is anyone's guess. :nenau

You dont need gps in doors:lol in tunnels yes but ive never lost gps signal in the 8 years ive used it even in cheddar gorge you can still get signal:thumbs

I will be extremely angry if i ever have to have a government/police snoop detector fitted in my car.

but ironically.........

I would love it for my kids when they are old enough to drive
