Those aren't caravans there mobile garages for parking your motors in:eek::lol

Nice location and outfit blocky. Whereabouts are you in goods own county?

We're at Golden Square Camping Park just south of Helmsley. Lovely location and the weather has been good to us so far.

Yes Sweety. It's 8 metres in length and I did bring almost the contents of my garage just in case! But they've both been trouble free so far. The kids on the other hand.....

i think its to keep it clean while your driving, and prevent stone chips
seen quite a few now with those on,

i know the front of mine sometimes comes home covered in bits of mud, road crud and dead insects :doh

It's to stop damage on the front. Mainly smoke damage from a 3ltr auto! Have picked up a couple of stone chips in the past so just slide a cover over the front now days.

I have been using one for 3 years now, highly recommended. they also keep the UV off the GRP front and stops it dulling during storage. Only problem is when you wash the van post winter there is a tide mark at the top :doh
Crystal Glow or MER soon shifts it.

Mine is starting to become fragile and prone to tearing, have repaired a few times using Bostick to stick some material on the back but will have to purchase a new one soon.

Good call that cover, the soot is horrible.

Nice area around Helmsley, might be over that way next week (about 2000 feet over) :lol Get yourself across to Whitby, cracking place.

I just wash the front off when I arrive if it's picked up mud or flies. I fitted an exhaust chrome end pipe with a bend in it, this stops the soot problem.
I always fit a full cover when the caravan is at home, stops scum bags seeing it and protects it from rain and UV.

We spent a couple of days Whitby a few years back Jim, and it is a lovely place. Even had the world best known fish and chips. Had to que for about an hour though!
Not going to get time to revisit this time but well probably come back to this area in the summer.
