Tidy. :thumb2New boots...
Your saying that your going to fit new track rod ends but you still have to get the old ones off? Surprised they won't shift with heat. Just out of interest what size are the tyres and if you don't mind how much. As I will be looking after Xmas. Cheers
You misread, I'm planning on changing the wholetrack rod,not just the ends. I watched with the oxy. , one side wouldn't budge. Tyres, 235/65/17 £106+ vat fitted each. Could've probably got them a bit cheaper. But they're my regular people. It's an okay price.
Not familiar with the relay bar and idler arm. What/where are they, what do they do, why should I change them, how easy are they to change?
I replaced complete track rods for both sides on the project. Had to cut the nuts off holding them to hub and centre drag link. Need heavy blows with lump hammer to release them. Bought comlete track rods from milners, the joints have grease nipples and when I assembled them I stuck loads of copper slip on the threads.
Took me ages to release the first one but after I posted on here Fez replied with a youtube video. Take a look in my threads from early September and you'll find it.
