Need ball & Spring for gearbox

After leaving my gearbox in bits in the workshop for many months I have finally got round to rebuilding it with new bearings. One of the last bits to go back in are a ball and spring that drop in hole under the plate that holds the gear shift lever in. Well I haven't got the ball & spring, they must have fallen out when I was moving the gearbox down the garden to the workshop.
Has anyone got an old knackered gear box they can fish these items from??
If so please let me know how much for them + the postage.

yes I got a scrap box, will try and find time tomorrow to pull it out, the ball and spring that is, the box is sitting on a scrap chassis but has a quad bike on top of it and may not be able to move it on my own, Rick

Thanks Rick, thats great. You can imagine how p----d off I was to get to the end of rebuild and find I had lost these small bits. No big rush just get to it when you can.
