Morning,

Whilst waiting for the LSD I thought I'd give the van a quick once over.

Looks like my plastic thermostat housing is starting to give. I can see some hairline fractures. Is the metal part still available? Does anyone have one they want to sell?

Also, does the bottom rubber windscreen seal, the one that is external and tucks under the black plastic cover which hides the windscreen wiper mechanism, does it actually do anything? Mine has rotted and is now useless. I can see that there is a void into the bulkhead but didn't know if water will accumulate there and eventually run into the cab or drip onto any electrics in there. Similar question are they still available does anyone have one they want to sell?

I got one for a member a while ago, about £30 I think, I can check to see if they are still available, re the rubber if it the one I think then it just limits the water running over the brake master cyl area and windscreen area, I have one about someplace, Rick

It was for me Rick :thumb2 I was of the exact same thinking Dave and as such approached Rick for 2 and tigersealed them in place. Sure there might be a few pics in my project thread but not sure :nenau

Cheers for that Rick I'll wait for an update.

I've reseated the seal...and noticed that the black plastic has an open grill so rain etc must be driven in there so I guess its not imperative to get the seal replaced.

Looks like I might have found a housing.

Rick was you able to locate one? If not I'll order the one I've found.

Not had a chance to do it, so go for what have found, Rick
