In April we went down to Devon, from North Oxfordshire. Did a steady 80 all the way down the motorway, a bit of country lanes, and then up hill and down dale for 4 days around Bigbury-on-Sea.

Got 31mph, similar when I filled up on return, again with a good belting down the motorway.

I was well pleased with that considering the enthusiastic driving!

I was on the weigh bridge on Friday as took a load of scrap, on way out noticed it was 2750 kg now the trailer is only around 450 kg so I am tromping around at 2300 kg with all my kit and predominately town driving so at around 24 mpg I cannot complain, Rick
