Can the unsual wearing be caused by the loss of strenght in the torsion bar? ( I'm not thinking of turning the screw of it )- after repearing would it be a good idea to replace the torsion bar.
In the case, my truck has 180mKm, and I think this wearing is just a cause, not the problem.
I'm aware that this happens in all T2.

When I wrote "

It was meant to be "
In the case, my truck has 180mKm, and I think this wearing is just a consequence, not the problem. "

All Terranos sag with age its just something they do - it's worth resetting the ride height on all trucks however old. They ride and handle better when at the correct height - details on how to measure and check etc are HERE on page 8 and 31

I don't think the wear will be down to that though, its just its a metal part that is exposed to water etc.

X-Eng's X-Joint for use on Blandrovers looks like it has potential to be modified and incorporated in the front end of a Nissan but its a lot of money to shell out for an experiment - would certainly help with the front end articulation - wouldn't gain any more flex butit would move more easily and not bind up so much at the extremes of travel.
Now that I like :D
Do you think that would be ok in compression though? I've sent an email to see how much for the joint bit only. Was thinking maybe modify the lower rear arm by tapping it to suit the joint knuckle bit:augie or just make a new bit to bolt on the lower arm:sly
Is there any mileage in actually reducing the castor angle a bit for off road, ie when pushing through deep mud or sand/
