Forgot to mention after our big laning trip at peak district..
I have been saying for a while that the clutch lurkes some naughty gremlins.
This was was not fun, nor was I impressed!!
we are mid way on a rocky lane on a bit of an incline (nothing too crazy)
I am in normal 4wd stationary, once it clears infront and elty passes the cyclists i put the terrano into first gear and start to crawl (or try to)
more revs.. more revs.. nothing till eventually the pedal was completely up and i was revving... then the typical clutch smell, so naturally I stopped as clearly i was just spinning the clutch plates.
I decided to put it into low gear and boom off i set good as gold, but 3 seconds later POP the clutch pedal completely dissapeared to the floor, literally like someone had cut a hose!!! :doh
on the move I shouted forward asking elty to move so I dont konk on a lane :lol
as we moved forwards the clutch pedal all of a sudden came back to normal and pressure was available again... :nenau wtf.... :nenau
Once we stopped in a carpark I checked fluid levels and everything was spot on, on the max mark.. :nenau
Any suggestions guys as this is not fun (all be it a rare one)
anyone heard of a release valve for pressure build up or something?
