This might be a silly question - apologies in advance!

There is a part which protects water/mud getting onto the body which is hanging around tyre and it is made by rubber material, probably.

I found this part for front passenger side is now ripped, just hanging with the small part which is still intact towards the front. Could someone please advise what this part is called? Because of this the dirt seem to get onto the outside of this guard.

Wheel Arch Linings?

They are held to the body and chassis with rubbish plastic clips that always break upon removal

Wheel arch liner seal ?

On some vehicles there is a plastic wheel arch liner with a rubber seal that fits on the liner edge and thereby forms a better seal.

Thank you, Wheel Arch Linings, that is! But this looks so thin and ripped and a part of it is now falling off so I suppose I should replace? I couldn't find any in eBay and wondering how others do about this. Wonder if I could get new one? (Suppose one from old Terrano may not have much life remaining to use?)

Would be nice if it was made in plastic, well better than this thin rubber version.

Is it relatively stiff plastic or at least hard thin plastic or is it flexible soft rubber?

The plastic line the top of the front wheel arches and then down the trailing edge up against the footwells.
If it's the rubber they clip to the back of the bumper brackets and line the vertical sides of the inner wing to protect the engine compartment, they're usually shaped to go around the drive shafts.

To be honest as long as they're intact there's nothing wrong with used liners. Chances are Solarman will have what you want and even the clips.

Yes I have both rubber and plastic, which side are you after mate, Rick

Jim, it is soft rubber material. Not sure if this is the original one as it looks so thin comparing to how T2's build is. It got ripped near the bridge where the edge of bumper is bolted. So the dirty water or mud could go beyond where the liner is supposed to block them (backside of the bumper an around).

Rick, it's front passenger side. Unbelievably soon one year since I went to see you, so after your project I could come around again :)

Yes no problem, once my current job is over, will be good to see you again, Rick

Hi Rick, thank you - am following your project thread so will give you a shout :thumb2
