N/S/F ABS Sensor

I love my little farm run around, sails through the MOT other than 2 sensors . . . . great i thought can't be big money. . . . .the Hitachi MAF and the NSF ABS sensor are gone, and neither to be bought anywhere . . . .

what causes these to fail?? is there any way of reconditioning them?

Is there a pattern part available, any idea of cost, do i need to be sitting down??

on the ABS, the wires coming out thend to brake, so can be fixed jsut solder new wires on.. do a search..

MAF, Hitachi, there may be a member whos got one to sell. look on ebay too

Got sorted on the MAF - Thanks to rayf

Just need to find an ABS sensor, have sent some enquiries to a couple of breakers so see what happens, perhaps there is a member who will allow me to liberate them of an ABS sensor in exchange for a few bits of paper with the queen's head on it!

Will there be a difference between a 2.7td and a 2.4i engined ABS sensor?

The cars are the same age, the engine is the difference . . .

Sorry to be a pain, but would anyone know if there is a difference in the abs sensors used on petrol versions compared to diesel version?

seems to be difficult to track these sensors down so want to be sure.
