This little beastie is a Talon 100R or more commonly known as a Rover 100 with a big engine :D. It was Built by Talon Sports Cars for little old me. She's my daily drive & good for scaring the pants of much more expensive kit! ;)
Next year I plan to take the car hillclimbing which why I'm saving for a commercial Terrano to use as a tow car, daily hack & maybe some green lane-ing if I can find the time!

The Specs as far as I can remember.

Fully stripped interior & ally door cards (side impact bars removed from doors)
1.8 VVC K series engine from MGF.
PG1 gear box with Type C gear set & Quaife LSD
BMC CDA Air box & filter.
GTI discs & callipers.
Welded in roll cage.
Perspex rear 1/4 & boot windows.
Individulaised & lowered suspension.
GTI spec ARB's & Dampers.
MG TF leather seats.
Securon 3 point harness with lockable retractors at the rear.
Kn 14" Dytec Alloy wheels 195 tyres.
A set of 13 GTI wheels with R888 tyres for track days.
Fibreglass bonnet.

Planned work includes polybushing the suspension, fitting a fibreglass boot lid, bucket seats & full harnesess plus various other small jobs to bring in line with MSA rules for Hillclimbing. Frankly I cant wait! :)

All I have to do now is try not to 'fettle' the Terrano when I get it (eventually). :lol

Looks like fun :D

I take it you would have been a fan of 6r4's :thumb2

I'm more impressed that you've held the Rover Rot at bay :D

Ooooooh VERY NICE ... i'm fancying a Hyabusa powered Zcars mini when i can justify spending the money lol :D:lol ... and X2 with the 6R4 comment ... NICE!!!!!!

6R4's are awsome toys aren't they :thumb2.
The car was remarkably rot free when the guys turned it over to inspect the floor panels they found no repair work was required! The rear arches are fibreglass mouldings covering the existing ones. Any rot had been cut away before fitting the new arches. I've also just had the car waxyoiled to keep the tin worm away. There are a couple of water leaks that need chasing inside but hopefully I'll fix them soon.

I'd love a Z car too, but I'd go for the supercharged honda civic engine I think. Here's a bike engined one that competes regularly in the Midlands. :)
