quite a few mods have gone on it the short time I have owned this so thought id do a build thread

bought the truck back in the summer as always had an itch to scratch in the 4x4 world

the day I bought it home, full mot and 6 months tax for £1800! no rot any where!

first mod was bull bar and huge spot lights
then full service right through

then 25mm spacers

wooden centre console so gloss black it was to be

poly bush the arb as they were goosed

then more power so up'd boost to 15 psi so ment I needed boost gauge

next were the bigger mods, diy snorkel and that needed holes to be cut etc

with jimny air filter right on top

next was procomp steering damper

wheels and tyres came up at a bargain and a full set of 5 nearly new!
then for winter 42" led light bar and omg! awesome

main beam oe lights

led bar on

next was to make the ride better so opted for rough country +2 all round and very happy with the choice as brilliant shocks

now the biggy I wanted hidden winch mout so set about making one ready for new winch

more updates yet but better do some work lol

Quality pal. Looks good. I had all intentions of doing similar but all I've managed, apart from servicing, is rack up the miles :-/
One day.....

Brilliant mate looks a tidy truck. Steering damper made a big diffrence on mine

Steering damper is very good mod. Saves the arm ache when off roading haven't finished write up yet as run outta time at lunch.

Yup, awesome list of bits  cool truck!

All you need is some tubular bumpers now :augie

greet mods madmark and still looks like t2 and not like a meccano set gone wrong :lol :thumbs

Looking great bud :thumb2

What's the elbow you used for the snorkel coming out of your wing?

 oh no you didn't :p

Re first comment, yes winch bumpers is a cracking idea, you csn get some really tidy bumpers with winch space inc but they are like 800 a pop

I saw those bumpers sitting at a Ricks and I couldn't help myself, Rick was gonna put it on his off-roader but his rear winch stopped that happening so :augie

More like 180-200 quid :lol

next winch went in

silly mod that helped with pay and play days to stop exhaust bunging up when in deep mud in reverse very simple to do but welder essential

next more height needed this came with torsion tweek to front and then rear with 1.5" spring spacers followed by full 2" body lift

before

after

wasn't happy with snorkel so bought universal cold feed induction which put filter back in bay but I had to silicone the ends to make it water tight, and new snorkel top on its way

for fun I added a exhaust valve so at touch of a button its silenced or straight through sounds great under load wide open lol

this is her today not sure what else to do now accept enjoy lol

Not seen that exhaust mod before, cracking pics though :thumb2

The noise is fantastic innit :naughty

Thankyou to adz for persuading me to remove it :clap
