This is my new toy, a Bandit 600 [Bonny] as in Bonny and Clyde, they were bandits, getit
R reg 2300 miles, she had been standing unused for around 10 years, tax disk 2005, never been in the rain, always garaged, I had been nagging the owner to sell it to me for years.
She would start but rough no power only ran on choke.
Cleaned all jets and float chambers loads of 'varnish', new plugs, oil and filter, now purrs like a kitten
MOT on Moday cant wait to get her out on the road
Decided to live a little longer, as a returning rider chances of living to a ripe old age on a bike like that pretty poor, I passed my test 60 years ago, not had a bike for 30 years
I went on a course with a local bloke who convinced me a few 1 hour lessons would be better than a 'crash' course.
So different to the bikes I used to ride, money well spent.
Just the job for the summers in my declining years
Some trim panels still to refit
