maybe you should take time to read peoples names and instead of posting up isulting comments about Terrano's not up to the job, maybe you should engage your brain

dont cry blu bell was only larking about, dont go off on one. and if you read the full posts youl see i was the one being got at about my landy..
so get off ya hi horse!!

caravan tuggers

trouble is mate the caravan allways seems to get broke off road and thers no where to put a recovery strap on the back of a van to pull out a stuck landrover

I will crying with laughter when i have to push your landy out of the way so I can get past and get to the real mud.

Youl cry with arceye with all those stupid spot lights u have

Looks very bling in a defender stylee guyz but "offroader"??

No self respecting landy goes up a kerb without a steering guard ad with them tyres??????

Its 4x4 stuff

I dont understand how anyone can get on their high horse about the make of a manufacturers vehicle. After all the owner of said make model etc didnt produce the vehicle. Its a 4x4 so I cant see how or why anyone can up and dis someone elses motor. :? But Ive noticed it alot on these 4x4 sites and to be quite frank, Landrover owners are of the worst culprits in my humble opinion. They are the first ones to mention the name of some elses motor especially if its a Jap model.
So guyz whilst I sympathise with you my friend, your gunna have to take it on the chin on a Nissan site.
Each to his own is my motto.

o im with ya on that 1 mate.. couldnt agree more and lots of these landy owners are anal lol
its my 1st landy i posted a pic on here being a TERRANO owner too and the ribbing started

iv only ever had zooks fourtracks and this is my 1st nissan.
reason for the landy is there are many off the shelf bolt on products , spares are plentifull and there very robust unlike the zooks. as for terranos no one makes anything for em parts are fortunes and im not a lover of ifs. hence thats why i chose the landy hope this clears things up .
This members other drives should be binned lmfao

You could have a point there. Maybe it should be members other non LR vehicles ????

should read zooks too dadba REMEMBER!!!
SPOT LIGHTS, nuffun at all 8)

Heinz 57

I'd love to see a group of manufacturers build a heinz 57 4x4 with a list of all the names on the back.
I think they should call it a ......... Nisrovkiyota.
But thez only 4 makes of vehicles in that one.
Maybe put spot lights on it as standard ???? :?

land rover forum

Just to add a little twist to this debate, prior to owning my T2, i myself was a Landy owner. i joined a well known Land Rover 4x4 forum. the name i will withold. The dissention in the ranks amongst the different model owners was staggering, in fact at times i couldnt believe what i was reading. It just seems that if they going to argue amongst themselves, they will argue with anyone. i jumped ship, seen sense and bought my T2. and joined this club,- guess what no argueing or looking down on members for their choice of vehicle.

Spot on wanaron. Well said. Its not on is it. Its freedom of choice and a respect for others choice. I really dont like this sort of attitude amongst certain 4x4 owners. :x

Hey I was only pulling Guyz leg. The Heinz 57 idea sounds good as every vehicle has it's good points, trouble is I don't like the sound of the name as it sounds like a 4x4 from behind the iron curtain

See Ya

Hello all, I've been following this thread for a bit and just thought I'd add a few bits.
I've had a few 4 x 4 a Suzuki Samurai, a Toyota Hilux and now my Maverick.
This is the first time I've ever joined (let alone paid for) a forum for help.
It's been brill cheers BUT a few points:
Guyz is right in that it is a pain to get off the shelf and cheap bolt ons for the Maverick(Nissan) hence my interest in the forum.
I've found the maverick so good for the money, mine just over £200 and climbs all over my mates Landy and another friends Disco.
However we do rip the P out of each other all the time.
Now thats all well and good but it seems there's a little undercurrent in this thread thats not so nice!
If the forum has an item for other cars than thats that.
I think his landy looks pretty mean but I would never tell my mates that cause they're so full of them selves.
So chill out dudes and get off road.
Tara
