apparently when the diff for example hits water it changes temp, which sucks in air and water if the breather is basic hence why many people run diff breathers etc up higher

Ahh right, cool, I think I'm going to extend the rear diff breather up into the body, behind the rear interior panels as I really don't want to bugger up the dif. Also I think I'll extend the front gear and dif breathers a long and into the truck behind the dash as it's dry their. Only thing that concerns me is, will the breathers make the truck smell of transmission if I put them inside? ?

I'd love a snorkel:naughty. As when I have a licence, I want to do some serious 4x4ing:sly I can still extend the pipes as I'll just put a Y or T piece in and run the hose up. Btw. The hose I'm using is sunroof drainage tube

when u planning/aiming 2 sit your test? and is it simple to do??

ahh i thought u were 17 already, clog nxt yr then :lol unless u get ur dad 2 drive or tow it up :augie

Noo!! It's my truck, so I'm driving:lol:lol

Also I've actually towed dad when he got his car stuck in a field :lol

yeah, u drive round clog, private ground anyho so ur fine, but get ur dad to tow it up since u can't yet:sly
show ur dad how its done properly :augie:lol

I'd like to come to clog:D. Only main reason I've not done much 4x4ing is dad stops me, he says my truck can't handle off roading so he won't let me drive over stuff bigger then a chocolate cookie as it'll break it and it'll get stuck:rolleyes:

he still can't forget the fact when he sunk it, all he done was rad line it in 1st then red line it in reverse. But a got it unstuck without even revving it, all I done was went into lo range, selected reverse, slowly lifted the clutch and it drove right out:lol:D

Don't get me wrong dads awesome:D but when it come to offroading....well :lol

you will need some proper aggressive tyres to get the most out of pay and plays.

I was on 30s, Travelled about 500meters in 3 hours at one pay and play. Was after alot of rain.

Winching gets a bit tedious then.

Ruts are a main issue

my new truck shouldn't have such problems once it's got it's new rubber.

Have you done anything with your diffs then Fez?

Which vehicle? Landy had it's diffs/gearbox to the engine bay. I am going to check over them when i get spare time. Also got one for timing cover and transfer box :thumbs

No I meant the diffs as in lockers or some other thing to get you more than 2 wheel drive?
Nothing worse than being stuck cross axled
