Just thought it start a wee thread about my mistral and put some pics of it up as it is a work in progress so heres how it started off,

First thing i did was buy a full exhast system and tires for the mot also got some steel wheels and sprayed them black.Heres a pick of the new boots.

Got it back with a new MOT then gave it a good clean followed by a clay bar then autoglym super resin polish then a coat of autoglym ultra deep shine then two coats of autoglym high definition wax she came up well :thumb2

Ruddy nice motor

One of the original cibbie fog lights was smashed so i replaced them with 9" spotters they were to big so had to make up brackets for them to clear the A bar.

very nice stuarty , almost as shiny as mine :augie .... bet ya love the folding mirrors too :naughty
 
I have also fitted a pioneer head unit with i pod cable in the glove box as the original jap radio wouldnt pick up much fm stations but havent got pics of that just now i will take some and get them posted.Now for the front seats i bought some RS turbo Recaros and a terrano drivers seat i have removed the terrano seat from its runner and am in the process of mating the recaros to the terrano subfram im almost there heres a pic of the first attempt it was too high so have manageg to lower it by 6cms wich has done the job just a few little things to do before they are in :naughty

Haha thanks for the comments you know i have had it for three months or so and only noticed the electric folding mirrors last week :eek:
 
Also fitted an extra reverse light with led bulbs in it and the original one,fitted light guards and the tow bar :thumb2

some little sod tried to take off my little parking mirror last night luckily it survived aloth was bent to face sideways just needed to twist it back think if it was the mistrel it would be mia now tho lmfao:augie:augie:D
 
Cheekey get lol i had it through some mud last weekend but up here we have no green lanes :( and not any play sites near me!Next year im planning going to wales for a few days laning and camping then i fancy doing the alps the year after once i have honed my offroad driving a bit.Glad your mirror wasnt damaged why cant folk leave stuff alone theres no need for it i have been lucky none of my cars have been fiddled with yet touch wood.
 
Now that does look better i am on the lookout for a full size bar but might strip the one on for the time being :thumb2,Recaros rock eh ADZ great seats sooo comfy :D

leather heated seats and loads of padding is the way forward:lol:lol
