You not finished yet Simon:eek: you would think you went to work, had to wait for parts & had loads of welding to do:lol:lol:lol It's coming on nicely mate:thumbs

Winah bumper collected, needs a bit of a tweak to get to fit right as it's do a lifted truck but I've got that covered :thumb2

Waiting on seam sealer turning up halted plans yesterday, was hoping to have the drivers side sealed, waxoiled and built back up but it never arrived :doh

Trail fitted the winch bumper to check how far I need to move the brackets up as it's built originally for a truck with a 2" lift.

Bored waiting for the sealer to appear so I've been out tinkering again :D
Chopped the brackets and moved them up, temp welded to check how it sat, much better but still needs tweaking.

Mounted the wing and drilled it all ready, fitted the arch cover too which needs a bit of silicone then it can all be painted.
Starting to look like a 4x4 again :thumb2

Starting to take shape now matey:thumb2
I've done jack on mine this weekend :lol
Just spent all afternoon hoovering and cleaning the focus after our holiday last week.
Note to self....shave the the dog before letting her get in the car again:lol

It'd have been bolted up properly if that seam sealer would've turned up.
Bumper still needs some more tweaking as the winch mount catches the front cross member and the brackets still need a tweak to get it to sit how I want.
Not heard anything from my mate who was doing the box section sliders so I'm going to try and find someone else to make them as once there on I can move it round and start the other side :thumb2

First corner done and everything bolted up. Bumper tweaked a bit more but I'm still not 100% with it so a bit more tweaking required.

On to phase 2....the passenger side!
Connected battery after it being off for months and boom, first turn of the key it fired up. Saw daylight and swapped it around.

Rear arch seems to have had a repair in the past as there's no lug holes that the plastic arch clips into. The rear inner arch has gone all the way round too ffs!

Looking good. What's the black paint on the inner wing?

Just hammerite for now until I can get some more waxoil/underseal. With it being stood outside and fresh metal I thought it best to protect it a bit :thumb2

Just given this thread 5 star rating as it's another great thread showing some great reconstruction work being carried out.

Love to see these threads:thumbs

Cheers Jim.

Got the bumper mounts all welded up and re fitted, although it needs a bit of adjustment one side it'll do for now.

Bit more done today.

Day off work with a bad eye but I sneaked out to do a bit on the truck :D

Wings on but it needs a trim now it's bolted up.

Moved the occ too as I wasn't 100% happy with it before

I have to ask :lol :lol

Why the random boot under the car? :lol :lol

Mrs and kids kick their shoes off at the back door which is just inline with that random one under the car :lol
