Exhaust is knackered so needs doing ASAP and with a 330 mile trip coming up I want it to be spot on and as free flowing as possible.

What you got up for grabs?
Centre Box and Tailpipe, stainless all the way through with a sexy chrome tip on that's engraved "Powerflow"

I hate you!!!! :( Every time I come in this thread I get sentimental :(

Thats well smart, you reckon your guy would knock up another one of those straight through centre pipes? I want to do the same but keep the original front downpipe and tailpipe, as I'm made aware the majority of the sound deadening is done in that centre box

But seriously mate.... WOW, it's looking sweet!!!! Solid underneath as well for a truck of that vintage just like mine was :D trust me mate, don't do any more mods until you've Waxoyled the body and chassis, go and find some grass, take a set of drive on ramps and go plaster the whole underside!!!!

Best thing you can do for it, because the only thing that ever truly stops these trucks is the old tin worm :doh

BTW, I've moved this from show us yours into Vehicle Projects as at 9 pages long and such good work and time thrown at it, i think it deserves more credit than just being in the show us yours section :thumbs

Keep it up buddy, I always get excited when I see this one flash up :clap

I've got a few patches to weld up on the inner wings then it will be getting cleaned and sealed that's for sure.

Do you just want the centre pipe? As I could measure the length, it's only 2 1/4" stainless.

Here's his website http://www.alloyracingfabrications.com/

Quick boost gauge holder knocked up. Damn gauge hasn't shown up yet tho :nenau

Added a grease nipple to the steering idler so I could keep it a bit healthier.

Also found I have some weird hissing noise when I switch the engine off, seems to be coming from under the maf somewhere?

Not sure if solenoid or vac hose so ordered some new hose as they look a bit brittle and perished anyway.

Nice little pic from Sunday nights car gathering :thumb2

Nice pic:thumb2 we go to quite a few car meets & I always laugh when everyone stands on the brakes for a speed bump or a dip in the road because they are scrapping their bumpers, at time like this I floor it & over take them:lol

It was funny, I watched a group of lads mouth "look at that piece of shit".
They soon realised that the music was coming from my truck and the smiles soon went :D

Up here 4x4's go down well with the boys & girls with lowered cars prob due to 4x4's making their cars look even lower than they are but the knock on effect is the lowered cars make the 4x4's look higher:D but as you said people are always shocked to find a sound system in a truck:lol
