looks like a christmas tree ;)

Have you told your insurance company about the mods?

Good job mate :thumbs I have a set of LEDs for mine. Put them in after half a day taking the dash out, cleaning it all up and fitting the little buggers. Only got about half of them to work :doh Tried a couple more times and still failed  Put new blubs in instead :lol
Anyone want a set of LEDs :augie

yes i do actually:augie, i want 2 for my boost volt as they just have standard globes in, what colour are they?

I'm pretty sure they're white :thumbs I'll need to rummage round the garage for them :thumbs

Sorry, didn't notice that bit:augie, I've told them about some, not the interior though. That's got nothing of interest to them. My truck just looks like a SE spec even though it's a SLX, it's now go SE extras fitted

your dash looks just like my TD Maverick except the radio, what is that dvd player radio thingy. tell me about it!

With reference to LEDs, sometimes they emit a bright light over a small area, if this is a problem, then use wet and dry to flatten the end, then Tcut to polish the end if required, then you get a better dispersed light over a larger area.
You can even file the end to make different shapes, eg triangles, lines etc.

Be careful you don't over do it and expose the active semiconductor of the LED.

I used this method to back light my instruments on the boat.:thumbs

I couldn't do that with the ones I put in. Their SMD LEDs
