We drove back to Fairbanks and flew down to Anchorage and hired an RV and then drove to Talkeetna airstrip where we flew around Mt Mcinley the highest mountain in North America 20,000 ft

yes very interesting, and what's more later when I get a little vague about it I can come back to it and see it all again, important when your memory is beginning to get dim, I have all my old European truck cine and stills on a disc some place, all I need to do is remember where it is, the only good point is I know it is here somewhere, as long as I can find it before optical disks become old hat, SO YES PLEASE KEEP IT GOING, Rick

Amazing and very moving story, thank you for sharing this with us..

I could talk about this story for weeks, but would probably get boring to some, and there are more important issues on a Nissan Terrano-Maverick site, like "how can i remove this fly off my windscreen".lol but if you want me to carry on, i will, the next installment is from Fairbanks to Dawson

It's a refreshing change and very interesting, keep it up:clap:clap:clap

Next day I drove the RV from MT McInley along the Glennalan Highway to Wasilla were Sarah Palin was governor.
