HI i did know it wouldnt go under the up and over door before i bought her. (neather would a lwb terrano. with roof bars).
But i have a cunning plan. i am going to convert the door to a side opener.
Put a large post in to carry the weight of full door swinging sideways.
will need to put cross members on door to bolt hingers to .

roof i would like to raise a few inches as well,
it leaks like a sieve anyway so needs some of the assie sheets
lifting and resealing so may as well do all of it together
by lifting steel frame work and extending the side supports.
has anyone done anything simular.?

how about layer blocks round sides and back maybe weld a piece for hi lift to lift piece at time ?? block should give 3"gain?????

iAN dROP FLOOR IF NO PROBLEMS WITH FLOODING ,PUT PIT IN IF NOT GOT ONE ALREADY.dID YOU GET THE DVD.jOHN

as it's for the Disco, drop the floor by 6', park the disco in it, fill in the hole and use the rest of the earth for a rockery whole problem solved.
sorry Ian only kidding?

whatever you do add litle for future proofing as its standard height at mo aint it?

hi.
the garage door is an up and over,so when in the up mode it hangs down at least 9" .the door frame is 6`6" but i can alter door frameing to give 7`in height.
if i took the up and over door off disco should fit in ok .BUT not much room to jack her up.
Thats why i need to raise the roof so to speak garage is 26`x 20` so plenty of room in there .
it was built to fit a cadilac in.

ps .
garage is at top of a slope at the end of garden so is dug into the ground at the back and a concrete ramp is at the front ,so a lot of work would have to be done to raise the hole garage on blocks etc.

BIG JIM we already have a rockery with a pond in it .
BUT a disco does fill up with water at the back when seals fail so maybe something to consider later. hopefully much later.
