Some lowlife stole my precious car. I imagine it's either been run in for scrap or ragged round offroad somewhere and then burnt out.

On the offchance could you all please keep a look out? Dark blue Nissan Patrol Y60 K332 FYH. Rusty front bumper with gaffer tape over the rusty bits (looks awful, was due to renew it). Rusty nearside headlight. It had really nice tyres, BF Goodrich All Terrains, fairly new.

Bastards, I hope they crash and get blinded by flying glass (and that's one of the nicer things I have wished upon them!)

:( :( :( :( :(

its very rare i resort to using profanity , but ....... i hope their next shit is a hedgehog

Oh Karin, what can I say, I feel hurt to after spending time on it, what kind of low life are they, did your car not have NATS? you did not leave the keys in it? Rick

probibly gonna rag a cash machine out somewhere or use it for battering ram in ram raid!

It was icy this morning, so I put my bike in the car, drove down to Beckenham and parked up. Rode into work, rode back, no car. Parked legally in a nice area in full public view with lots of passers-by, not directly outside someone's house, lots of much nicer cars there. No, it hasn't got an alarm, and no, I didn't leave the keys in it! :)

checked to see if its been impounded anyway ?

Check with who? The police didn't say anything when I reported it stolen, would they know if it had been impounded? What would it have been impounded for? It's taxed insured mot'd. What's NATS by the way?

oh, dear - :(

I've had so much stuff stolen this year i know exactly how you feel, and it isn't a nice feeling :(

I hope this has a happy ending, and that you are well insured.

stoopid question karin , but , how are you gonna get to work now ?

My car stolen today

HI KARIN.
So sorry you have become the victim of some low life.
hopefully there is a cloud coming your way with a silver lining.:thumb2

Bad news mate :(

You can always hope they try and sell it to buy drugs then overdose!! Low life scum!

really sorry to hear this mate, but I agree with checking if its been towed. Example, my mate came to see us a few months back, parked his van up on a hill down a neighbouring street. VERY quiet where we live. Go's out to get the van...no van.

what happened? Van handbrake failed a bit, so car sort of rolled back a bit and nudged another van parked clsoe by-NO DAMAGE. COCK head who owns the van rings the police, police turn up, tow the van away. This guy had CCTV, so knew my mate had walked off up the road. The cock was some sort of barrister or ex barister or somethign i dunno, point is, van got towed away and my mate spent all night searching, worrying that he was going to lose his job etc, and the friggin police had it.

Sorry to hear about this, if my wife had done this, I would say are you sure you parked it there, so I won't insult you by asking the question. :doh

It might be worth looking at the location in daylight, and look for any signs that say, limit the hours of parking.
This is happening a lot near railway stations and the like to stop people taking up customer parking spaces.

Like all my projects, I was thinking of making an Anti-Hijack alarm, it will work as follows, start the car, leave the engine running, keys in ignition, a mild mannered pedestrian, sees the vehicle as a free lift, so drives off, gets about half a mile away ( You don't want this guy to come and ask you to get it started for him do you?) and ....... engine shuts down, won't start..
Might be something I could sell on ebay... thoughts please..

Best regards, Rustic
