SWMBO is from Edinburgh, and we spend as much time as we can up north. I really like it up there.

Spent a lot of time on the west coast mostly, before we met, so was very coincidental but lovely....:nenau

we were back in Scotland 28th may-4th June, my 5 year old Zak wanted to climb to the top of Ben Nevis, we started at 9am got to the top at 5pm and got down at 11pm. Bloody long day but worth it. That was bank holiday Monday and the weather was fantastic. :thumb2

I'm up for Spain.
I am toying with the idea of going with the Polish Patrol guys to a rally in Poland, a weekend of laning and camping with over 200 Trol's, 2-4 September. It's only a 1000 miles to get there. ;)

That does sound tempting but I don't think I could cope with that many Patrol owners giving me grief all at once that my Terrano is gay :lol

The last time I went to Spain was in 96 when I rode me old Z650 down to Faro that was bloody hot it reached 42 in the Algarve.
So I'm not to up on the lanes In Spain but I'm up for camping on the trail different spot every night. :camping::camping:

I know some guys in Sevilla who manufacture 4x4 camper stuff, they should be able to think of something.
If they do, it'd be rude not to pop into their shop/factory to show our gratitude.

That's a 1400 mile 2day drive each way...I do love driving my Trol.

I'm further up north than you, it took me a couple of days to drive back to the UK from Madrid with car and trailer. I don't know anyone who could plan anything in the Pyrenees, but I could look.
I'll see what I can come up with.

All I remember of the Pyrenees is lovely sweeping bends with bloody great gully's at the side waiting for you to over do it.
But it was beautiful :thumb2
 
I like the sound of this!!!! But if we are going that far I'm going to make sure I can make the trip pay so I'll be taking a trailer so I can bring back Terrano bits cheap as stuff is pennies in Spain :naughty
