So its a quiet Saturday and im at work, luckily one of the technicians helped me jack the car up (rear first) and applied a generous coating of truckwash underneath, let it soak for 20 mins and blast off with a very powerful jetwash :D

needless to say the underside was really really coated in filth!!

However, I must say for a 2004 car it is *almost* rust free entirely!!!

We are just about the jack up the front and give that a ruddy good spray too! :clap

After this our plan is to let it dry and apply a very generous coating of wd40 over the whole chassis and in the little holes ect, they have always used wd40 as it is easy to reapply and no mess like waxoyl, I was a non believer until I saw their Jaguar 150 with not a spot of rust underneath....

God bless the technician :D

Ill keep you all posted, PICTURES TO FOLLOW :naughty

I would think WD40 would wear off on a car used all the time, I use Bilt Hamber products. I think a good coating of a wax substance is needed for vehicles used daily

Its is not a site to say

PICS TO FOLLOW :doh

*scratches head* ??

As it turns out i might not be Able to snap any pics until next weekend :(

The spraying has also been put off until next weekend as to not trap in any water and let it dry fully. She is very clean underneath though :D

Ok, still some hameriting to do but looking quite rust free, it's only surface :D

Sills are good from what I could see too

Wow! That looks really clean. If you could do that to your car every couple of months it would be great, and last for ever probably!

Regards

Alan

Watch out for the sills rotting from the inside, take out the plastic protectors in the door steps and inject some serious wax product in there as the sunroof drains run into these. Mine had rotted through front and back, inner and outer cause Nissan put the drain holes an inch or two short of the ends!!
