hi all i want a mr shifta caravan mover has any one got one for sale please
brian

et voila! :lol:lol:lol

now the answer to his actual question!.....

Hi There

YOu will get one on ebay. They come up all the time and for little money. They are not great at what they do, unless the trailer is on hard, flat ground. However they are well built and not prone to failure, as far as i am aware.

Regards
Lee

Gotta agree with Zippy... anyone Ive spoken too aint rated them, unless flat and tarmac ground in which case you could prob push the 'van anyways!!! Any chance you could borrow one to 'try before you buy'???? :nenau

My mates gotta remote mover thing on his 'van.... flash b*stard!!!
I just learned how to reverse and saved myself £800.00!!!! :lol

look into the front towbar as sugested before.. cheap and easy to use

potential problem with carrying or fitting a hefty mover is it eats into your payload allowance and of course more weight = more fuel used

ive got a front towbar for a t2/mav available certainly does trick but there are times
atleast for me where space is so limited the van needs to move on its own without another
15 foot of truck attached.

paid £50 few months to member who made it, doesnt fit the patrol so up for grabs...offers?

Those front end towbars are superb :thumb2 use mine regularly. I suspect the majority of folk fall into the same category as me, reversing with a trailer, ok can do but can be chew, driving forwards No problem :thumb2

The only thing thats crossed my mind coming up to MOT, has anyone submitted a T2/mav with one of these on?

If so where there any comments?

why mess about with all that stuff. I would reccomend going for the proper job if its a van you are gonna keep and fit a power mover! I can get one at a decent price fitted!!!!
