Maybe someone can help i filled the tank to the brim then i done 33 miles filled it back up to the neck again at excactly £1.18 per litre and it cost me exactly £6.50 what mpg am i getting?

Can't really work it out nicely with what you have given us there mate, best thing to do is brim it and run it until it conks out (well almost)

Then tell us how much you paid a litre and how many miles you got out of a tank and we'll give you your MPG

Ofcourse mate but it's a small sample
£6.50 divided by 1.18 = 5.5 litres used = 1.21 gallons
33 miles divided by 1.21 =27 and a bit MPG
You'll get a better idea when you do a tank to tank refill ie around all driving conditions etc :thumbs

That works out at 27.2 mpg but on such a small amount of fuel it could be 10% more or less.

Best done over 3 or 4 tankfulls for an accurate return.

My point exactly!!! that way he will have done a bit of everything, M'way/A Roads/ Round town etc etc
