Only true way to find ur cars MPG is to fill tank up to the top of neck so u can see the fuel rest mileage go and drive ur car when u done at least 150miles go back to fuel station fill tank up same way i.e so u can see the fuel is in the same level see how much u put in the second time and use that with how far u been and then u will have pretty accurate MPG any other way and ur really only hoping ur getting that MPG petrol 2.4l should be around 18 to 25mpg might be wrong as i have a diesel.

I don't think i could get 50mpg if i was being towed:lol

Indeed! 20-22mpg at best (well, also at worst in my experience. It doesn't vary much!).

As has been said, the only way to accurately measure MPG is to fill the tank completely. The gauge seems very unreliable - the last quarter seems to disappear in no time, the first quarter takes ages.

Yep I get about 21/22 normally (both cars) around town or towing, solo on a run about 25, having said that since I changed the engine on mine I am only getting 15 to 17 something is wrong but have not found it yet, so far changed injectors, temperature sensor, fuel pump, fuel filter, yet to do the maff, and check the compressions, Rick

iv hurd about LPG but i dont think you can fit to petrol :nenau but 2.7 tdi looks to much complication if something goes wrong with the engine :p

Lpg is for petrol engines, the 2.7 engine is very reliable, no timing belts or chains and you can run it on vegi oil. Regards. Bri

so has any one tried to convert a terrano and if so how much last time i had a quote was for 2000 but that was 4 years ago that was for fronteara
