As an update to the aforementioned government proposed legislation, I will state once more that it is written in history that the sign of the down fall of a civilisation is the powers that be introduce ridiculous legislation to try and control the people, when it is patently obvious that such legislation cannot be enforced, thin end of the wedge my friends, but that is the way we are going, 10,000 fine for speeding, what rubbish, it is not speed that causes accidents it is poor driving standards, but this is not addressed by the powers that be, I would not mind betting that I could drive from here to Yorkshire without seeing one patrol car, I have just done 900 miles on our French trip and saw only a couple of Gendarmes and that as only cos we were near their training site, in the 70's you would have seen motor cycle pairs every 100km or so, Rick
:doh luckily royal bank of parents helped me out by paying the fine & I paid them back in full. Not sure if I got caught speeding the other night TBH but he didn't chase after me & I poss slowed down in time:nenau hopefully he was after the modded hot hatches as it was cruise night:augie
